POSTION: Controls Engineer
LOCATION: Woodland, CA
COMPENSATION: Up to $90k, D.O.E
An industry leading developer of combustion products seeks a Controls Engineer to join their team. Since 1912, our client's products consistently achieve the highest performance, lowest emissions, and overall powerful results.
In addition to processing engineering projects from domestic and international customers, the Controls Engineer will also be involved in engineering selection, customer support, and bid strategy. Design work will include combustion controls, Burner Management Systems, digital and analog for burner equipment used on Boilers, HRSG boilers, Air Heaters, Kilns, Single burner and multi-burner systems.
The primary responsibilities for the Controls Engineer will include: -Technical specification review -Technical product definition for all applications -Preparation of operations sequence, Bills of Materials, PLC Programs, and schematic sketches -Field Service support -Interface with customers, A&E firms, equipment suppliers, and vendors -Work closely with project managers, manufacturing, and R&D groups -Technical support for sales rep organizations -Instrument and Panel Design -PLC Programming -HMI development -Loop controllers -Shop check-outs
Some travel involved. Will include engineering meetings and system start up as needed.
Ideal candidate for this opportunity will need to meet the following requirements: -5-10 years controls engineering experience, specifically in the design of control systems -BS in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred, or equivalent experience required -Have a strong experience with analog controls, control system design, and control loops.
