Quality Control Inspector
A medical device company that leads the industry in designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing innovative devices that enable repair of cardiac valves is seeking a Quality Control Inspector. The qualified candidate will perform Batch Record Reviews for subassemblies and Finished Product. Candidates will be able to verify incoming inspection data and assist in the tracking and trending of results for incoming components. They will also be responsible for assuring that components, subassemblies, and products have been manufactured, inspected, and tested using approved procedures and specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Review incoming and production quality control activities to ensure compliance with internal procedures, QSR, MDD, ISO/EN requirements.
2. Support production quality control activities to ensure timely inspections and efficient material movement.
3. Review and approval of production documentation including SAHRs and DHRs for accuracy and completeness.
4. Review and approval of printed labeling records.
5. Review sterilization records.
6. Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective actions to supervisor.
7. Ensure quality records, production documents, and calibration is accurate and compliant to internal procedures and GMP/GDP.
8. Perform data entry into database.
9. Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Required Skills for Quality Control Inspector Job:
- HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE OR EQUIVALENT
- AA IN TECHNICAL FIELD PREFERRED
