Structural Engineer Job Description:

Aerotek is currently working with two firms one in Washington, DC and one in Fairfax, VA that is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a PE. The firm in D.C. is a full service international architecture, engineering and planning firm with a project list that includes educational, government, multi-family and commercial projects. The firm in Fairfax, VA is a Structural Consulting firm with projects that include commercial, museums, retail, healthcare and government facilities.

Job Description:
This individual would serve as a Project Manager and will take responsibility for design and management for projects as well as manage a team of 5-7 people.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering with PE
2. At least 10 years of experience
3. Working knowledge of building codes, specifications
4. Must be proficient in CADD 2006
5. Experience leading teams
6. Experience with Design
