Mechanical Engineer
Aerotek is now accepting resumes for Mechanical Design Engineers for our client who is a global market leader in full service natural compression.
Ideal candidates should have experience in all or most of the following areas:
- Design of pistons, compressor design, finite element analysis, repair procedures, rotating equipment design.
- Figure material selection, weld procedures, machining procedures, etc.
- Engineering support for field modifications for customer owned equipment.
- Write, evaluate, document, implement standards and best practices, and lesson learned.
- Evaluate and resolve technical, mechanical, electrical and performance issues for fleet packages.
- Define and develop job scopes for projects. Project Management of revamps and special applications.
- Assist Operations personnel with technical issues.
- Investigate equipment failures and develop failure analysis reports. -
- Understand the design/selection methods and calculations necessary to design or select the appropriate solutions.
