Welding Engineer
Aerotek is currently accepting resumes for Welding Engineers. This position is a direct placement with our client, a manufacturer of oil and gas pressure control equipment.
The Welding Engineer will be responsible for the technical aspects of welding operations including, but not limited to:
- Selection of welding equipment and consumables - Preparation and qualification of welding procedures - Qualification of welders - Provision of technical oversight of fabrication techniques and production welding
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Welding Engineering or Metallurgy with specialized training in welding technology. Five years of relevant experience is considered essential.
