Embedded Software Engineer Job Description:

Description:

To design and develop embedded software/firmware for communications equipment. Responsible for full life-cycle development, coordination with various teams during product development, and field troubleshooting.

-Develop requirements, design, code, test and document software components for real-time embedded control system environments
-Hardware interface specification and implementation
-Act as a software subject matter expert to support customer deployments.
-Assume responsibility for timelines of major features and releases.
-Actively champion product and software quality.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
-Experience on real time operating systems for embedded systems
-Experience with DSP and Microcontroller development
-Expertise in driver-level development, control algorithms and state machine design/implementation
-Strong developer in C language
