Embedded Software Engineer
Company Information:
Our client is a leading digital communication engineering design company. Having been in business for over 13 years, they specialize in the analysis, design and implementation of digital communication components used in RF transmission systems including satellite (AEHF and UHF) and terrestrial systems. Their engineering teams are experienced in applying state-of-the-art digital signal processing techniques to a variety of applications ranging from digital radios, video processing, RFID and smartcards.
Description:
Candidates will be working on a software defined radio (SDR) system. The current project is focused on developing the software portion of the project and will be followed by integration with the hardware. Applicants should have a strong understanding of the software development process including gathering requirements, software design, implementation, documentation, test and support.
Qualifications:
-B.S. or higher in Applied Math/Computer Science/Engineering required
-Experience with object oriented embedded development
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in C and/or C++
-Experience with VxWorks preferred
-Experience with software defined radio or signal processing a plus
-Familiarity with Matlab or equivalent tools a plus
-Digital Communications knowledge/experience a plus
-Candidates must be clearable (can support a Secret clearance)
