Test Engineer Job Description:

Position Title: Test Engineer

Job Description: This position requires candidates to work with board, box, subsystem and fellow engineers to document and refine requirements, review designs and, as appropriate, recommend flight design changes to improve and simplify testing. Candidates will also generate test plans, test procedures, test scripts, and verification matrix. Additionally, they will work with a lead engineer to generate board- and box-level designs. This position will also support Hardware fabrication, assembly, test and debug.


Responsibilities: Candidates will be responsible for documenting and refining subsystem, box- and board-level requirements along with the generation of test plans, procedures and scripts. Candidates will also generate test verification matrix and verify that all requirements have been met. There will also be support of flight hardware fabrication, assembly, test and debugging. Candidates must also review designs and recommend design changes and improve testing all while participating in hardware and software design efforts.

Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years experience with the design and testing of flight Hardware
- Experience in documenting requirements, generating test plans and procedures, and verifying requirements
- Must be able to work in a team environment and effective interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and high initiative
