Process Engineer
Our client is in need of two Process/Project Development Engineers to work at their plant in Blair, NE. Our client manufactures lactic acid and lactic acid derivatives. Experience with process improvement and project development is a plus. An example of process improvement would be to increase yield by reducing raw materials, improvement to quality, identification and implementation of new technologies, and processing costs. Work will also include communicating with the engineering team as well as the technicians on the floor to discuss any new changes involved in the process. Processing includes fermentation, recovery using extensive unit operations and finally, blending and packaging.
Qualified candidates will need to have a minimum of a bachelors in chemical engineering with 3-5 years work experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry.
