Software Build Engineer
Our Client in the King of Prussia area is looking for a Build Engineer to join their team. This is permanent opportunity, so all applicants must be willing and able to work on a perm basis as a W2 employee of our client.

The Build Engineer position is deeply involved in the support, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Software Engineer-utilized servers, code compilation processes, software release mechanics, and source code management for internally developed Java-based applications. This is a challenging and key role in the management of applications undergoing regular parallel development and incurring regular changes. Solid, outgoing communication skills are necessary for regular interactions with software engineers, assisting them in branch management, software deployment and enforcement of software release standards and practices. Some level of system administration is intrinsic to the expected duties of the position along with comfort in navigating and querying databases. A background in Java programming is required; knowledge of CVS and experience in branch management is required.
Skills:
- 1-3 Years Java Programming
- 2+ Years CVS
- 2+ Years SQL, with focus on Oracle
- 2+ Years UNIX shell scripting
- 1+ Years ANT scripting
- Must be very comfortable working regularly in Linux terminal sessions
- Basic Linux System Administration
- Strong technical communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- 1+ Years Perl scripting
- 1+ Years Python scripting
- 1+ Years experience administrating SVN
- 1+ Years Maven scripting
- 1+ Years AWK/SED scripting
- 1+ Years Weblogic Administration (version 8.1 or higher)
- 1+ Years experience administrating IBM MQ Series
- Experience in application configuration management
