Aerotek est la plus grande firme de recrutement en aéronautique pour l’Amérique du nord. Notre client est un est présentement a la recherche d'un concepteur de tour de télécommunication pour une position immédiate et contractuelle pour la région de Montréal.
Comme faisant partie de l'Ingénierie et du fait de Faire le brouillon le Département, l'Ingénieur de Design de Tour fera partie d'une équipe que responsable des designs préliminaires et finaux de tours de télécommunication, fondations associées et d'autres éléments liés. Ces designs incluent tous les calculs liés de construction mécanique et les rapports aussi la supervision, la révision, en révisant et le fait de cacheter professionnel de dessins associés, spécifications et rapports. The tower types include monopoles, self-support latticed towers, latticed guyed towers and space frame towers. In addition to the design of new structures, the role will include the analysis of existing structures and recommendations on reinforcement of theses structures as deemed necessary. Designs must meet or exceed the requirements of the related jurisdictional design standards and codes as well as client specific requirements.
La position impliquera l'action réciproque fréquente avec le fait de faire le brouillon le personnel, projettera des directeurs, un magasin et un personnel de terrain, aussi bien que la communication occasionnelle tant avec les clients qu'avec sous-entrepreneurs. Le candidat doit être un individu de terrain avec la capacité de réagir vite et exactement sous un environnement haut marché à pas lents, emballé de pression et prendre des décisions confiantes, indépendantes rattachées au design de tour et à la construction. Le candidat ira faire pourtant, dans la plupart des circonstances, faire partie d'une équipe de design et communication
Activité principal
1. La préparation de tous les documents de design exigés pour les structures conçues et exposées en détail par vous ou dans votre supervision.
2. Le fait de garantir que toutes les normes de design et les codes, aussi bien que les exigences de client spécifiques sont rencontrés.
3. La révision et la confirmation de comme - les renseignements construits.
4. Le fait de garantir que toutes les dates limites allouées de projet sont rencontrées.
5. Le développement en cours de normes de design et les instruments de design, afin du maintien de l'amélioration de productivité continuelle.
CONNAISSANCES
- le Minimum d'un Degré de genie civil avec une spécialisation dans l'Ingénierie Structurelle.
- Agréé ou autorisé pour être autorisé comme un Ingénieur Professionnel dans une province canadienne.
- la connaissance Détaillée de CSA S37-01, CSA S16-01 et de CSA A23.3-04. et d'autres normes de design associées et codes (c'est-à-dire. TIA-222-F/G, etc.).
-la Forte communication interpersonnelle, orale et écrite et les adresses d'organisation.
- Fortes adresses analytiques et numériques.
- la culture informatique Excellente et l'expérience précédente avec la tour le logiciel de construction mécanique, comme le MÂT et GUYMAST, RISATower, TSTower, etc. et d'autre 3ème logiciel structurel comme STAAD et RISA 3ème.
- Minumum de 3 ans de design lié connaît dans l'industrie de tour de télécommunications

Aerotek, the leading provider of technical staff to the Aerospace and Aviation Industry across North America is currently looking for Telecommunication tower Designer for an immediate opportunity in Montreal, Quebec
SUMMARY
As part of the Engineering and Drafting Department, the Tower Design Engineer will be part of a team that responsible for the preliminary and final designs of telecommunication towers, associated foundations and other related elements. These designs include all related engineering calculations and reports as well the supervision, review, editing and professional sealing of associated drawings, specifications and reports. The tower types include monopoles, self-support latticed towers, latticed guyed towers and space frame towers. In addition to the design of new structures, the role will include the analysis of existing structures and recommendations on reinforcement of theses structures as deemed necessary. Designs must meet or exceed the requirements of the related jurisdictional design standards and codes as well as client specific requirements.
The position will involve frequent interaction with drafting staff, project managers, shop and field personnel, as well as the occasional communication with both clients and sub-contractors. The candidate must be a hands-on individual with the ability to react quickly and accurately under a high-paced, pressure-packed environment and make confident, independent decisions related to tower design and construction. The candidate will however, in most circumstances, be part of a design team and as such must be adaptable to a team environment.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.Preparation of all design documents required for structures designed and detailed by you or under your supervision.
2.Ensuring that all design standards and codes, as well as specific client requirements are met.
3.Review and confirmation of as-built information.
4.Ensuring that all assigned project deadlines are met.
5.Ongoing development of design standards and design tools in an effort to maintaining continual productivity improvement.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT
-Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
-Licensed or qualified to be licensed as a Professional Engineer in a Canadian province.
-Detailed knowledge of CSA S37-01, CSA S16-01 and CSA A23.3-04. and other associated design standards and codes (i.e. TIA-222-F/G, etc.).
-Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and organizational skills.
-Strong analytical and numerical skills.
-Excellent computer literacy and previous experience with tower engineering software, such as MAST and GUYMAST, RISATower, TSTower, etc. and other 3-D structural software such as STAAD and RISA 3D.
-Minumum of 3 years of related design experience in the telecommunications tower industry.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily office related work with frequent interaction with the adjacent fabrication shop and occasional construction and inspection site visits requiring some travel.
