Sr Applications Engineer-Power Products
Aerotek's premier client is looking to add an Applications Engineer to their growing team. This position is a Direct Placement opportunity and is looking to interview as soon as possible.
This individual will be responsible for providing a high level of knowledge in equipment characteristics, applications and operation. This consists of extensive customer support and consistent interaction with internal departments including Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Field support.
Major Job Duties Include:
* Interfacing between internal technical departments and customers
* Acquiring advanced knowledge of highly specialized products
* Responsible for interacting with customer throughout entire project lifecycle and all internal departments associated with the project
* Travel with field sales to provide product and application training
Job Requirements:
*CANDIDATE MUST COME FROM A POWER DISTRIBUTION PRODUCT MANUFACTURER
* MSEE or BSEE, preferably with a strong emphasis on power systems.
* At least three years of power experience along with electrical systems knowledge
*Travel up to 25%, sometimes on short notice, with occasional international travel as required by assignment
* Fluency in the English language is required
