Embedded Software Engineer Job Description:

Aerotek CE is currently recruiting for a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer for immediate employment in Springfield, VA.

This firm specializes in serving our government and industry with the ability to reactively design, build, and manufacture solutions for mission critical communication, embedded processors, and UAV components.

Offering custom-built embedded computing solutions used in a wide range of defense C4ISR applications such as signal intelligence and electronic warfare.

Be part of an engineering team that supports application code design, real-time operating system (RTOS) support, real-time embedded applications and Board Support Packages in C, C++ and Assembly language.
Ability to work independently desired. Prior experience with VxWorks or Nucleus OS required.

Requirments:
- BSCS, BSCE or related degree
- Five plus (5+) years of experience in Embedded Software Development
- Embedded C/C++ development experience
- Assembly language experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision (self starter)
- VxWorks experience required
- Nucleus OS experience required
