A&E Electrical Designer Job Description:

Our client, a local design firm specializing in mechanical and electrical building systems, has an opening for a qualified Local Electrical Designer.

Requirements for the Electrical Designer:
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in the design of electrical systems, power distribution, and lighting
- Only local candidates
- Associates or design certification is preferred, but not required
- AutoCAD and/or Microstation V8 or XM knowledge required
- Design-build experience is required
- Must have experience designing commercial buildings: educational, military, and institutional
- Previous military projects is preferred

Duties and Responsibilities for the Electrical Designer:
- Design electrical systems for commercial buildings and educational facilities
- Full design of power distribution, lighting, telecommunications
