Mechanical Engineer, PE Job Description:
Our client, full-service A&E firm, has an immediate opening for a qualified Mechanical Engineer PE, their Virginia Beach office.
Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer:
- Must have a minimum of 5-8 years experience in an A&E environment
- Experience with HVAC system designs, commercial, institutional, municipal, health care, and government facilities is a plus
- Must have Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) is Required
- LEED AP (Accredited Professional) is desired
- AutoCAD, Microstation, Trane Trace, and Revit experience is preferred
Duties and Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer:
- Develop functional and comprehensive designs
- Produce complete construction documents including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Prepare deliverables and products such as presentation materials, calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates related to HVAC systems for commercial and governmental facilities
