Naval Engineering Analyst Tech responsibilities: *Assist in the engineering applications between design and production *Utilize knowledge of Naval programs in a consulting role to the design and manufacturing of carriers and submarines. *Applying Naval experience in relation to Engineering Maintenance, Principles, Practices & Administration. *Responsible as liaison of proper DoD/Mil standards of design, engineering, manufacturing and procedures. *Applying knowledge of mathematics, mechanics, and/or materials such as Microsoft Access, Visual Basic and MS SQL Server to the specific problems assigned
Naval Engineering Analyst Tech requirements: *Working knowledge of the Navy's programs, standards, materials, and testing procedures is required, previously experience in Apprentice School is helpful *Requires an Associates degree or the equivalent in education, training, and experience *A candidate must be able to write clearly and concisely and have the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel. *May require the ability to physically access a wide variety of work sites, including those aboard ships under various stages of construction or overhaul. *May require the ability to obtain and retain specific security clearances.
