The incumbent to this position will be responsible for the design, development and test of software for the US Navy and other services. This includes the implementation of interface software, portable and flexible database products, signal and data processing required for sonar, radar and optical sensors; and the displays and controls that optimize the operator-machine-interface to minimize error and provide much-needed situational awareness. Our products are principally built in C++ and JAVA, operating in a LINUX environment. This position provides an excellent opportunity to participate fully in all aspects of the software development cycle, work with new and cutting edge technology, and to design and develop applications from the ground up. Expertise in the use of these languages/operating system is a must.

- STRONG ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS

- MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A US SECURITY CLEARANCE
- 6 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS OF PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE
- OBJECT ORIENTED DESIGN EXPERIENCE
- BS OR MS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE OR COMPUTER ENGINEERING
- 3 TO 5 YEARS OF PROGRAMMING FOR MID LEVEL CANDIDATES
